MY MOMMY MART DESCRIPTION

My Mommy Mart is a twice a year seasonal community consignment event designed by the owners to have a positive impact on all who are involved.  The event allows participants to price and tag their gently used children’s items in their own homes as they have time via online software.  The software program allows consignors to price their items as they wish and barcodes them neatly to allow for tracking of their sales and quick payout to them at the end of the event.  

Items are dropped off to the event location just days before the event begins, then they are organized uniformly before the sale starts. 

Shoppers:  Experience savings on like new products that are typically 50-75% less than new

Consignors:  Earn 70% of every dollar that they sell items for, the highest in the business

Charities:  Work with Mommy Mart to help raise money for their benefit.

The event benefits a parent by saving them money on clothing that is typically worn a very short amount of time.  Shoppers can buy gently used clothing at prices typically 50-75% less than new items. 

Consignors selling items earn significantly more than selling the same items at a yard sale and keep 70% of their selling price.  A special shopping time is allotted for 100 new or soon to be moms to allow them to have access to quality items and save them money as well. 

 At the end of each sale, consignors are given the option of picking up their leftover items or donated them to local charities. Mommy Mart works with local charities to raise money through cooperative programs that help promote good causes.
